Five ways to make thinking visible.

A shared language for noticing what the learner understands, how their thinking develops and what they can explain independently.

EVIDENCE ACROSS THE LEARNING PROCESS

Follow the thinking, not only the answer.

TAM looks for evidence of how thinking changes—from an initial attempt through challenge, explanation and application in a new context.

THREE SEPARATE QUESTIONS

Learning, facilitation and feasibility each matter.

These are assessed separately. A positive signal in one area does not answer the questions in the others.

    Are students reasoning, checking, revising and owning their conclusions?

  • Facilitation

    Are teachers helping students think without taking over the thinking?

  • Operational Sustainability

    Can the school deliver reliably within real faculty, timetable and governance constraints?

WHAT IS NOT PROOF ON ITS OWN

Positive experience matters. It is not the same as evidence of learning.

Participation and feedback are useful signals. They need to sit alongside evidence of the learner’s thinking.
